Meydan to be showcased at Cityscape Shanghai

Meydan has announced that it will for the first time participate at Cityscape Shanghai, scheduled to take place from June 25th-27th at the New Shanghai Expo Centre.

Meydan will be presenting a paper through its master-planner and architect, Mr Teo Ah Khing who will highlight the making of the grandstand along with other landmark features that will create this world-class city of fun-living, work, and play.

The Meydan flagship products, including the Racecourse, Business Park, City and Godolphin River City, will be among of the main attractions at the state-of-the-art Shanghai centre.

Visitors to the stand can gain a sense of the enormity of the project through the Meydan model. The Cityscape Shanghai exhibition will also provide an ideal environment to further raise awareness of the brand and attract potential investors.

Mr. Saeed H Al -Tayer, Chairman of Meydan, commented: "Plans are underway to make this one of the best ever displays of Meydan's evolving project and Cityscape Shanghai will be a perfect platform, being one of Asia's key real estate events.

"Shanghai has over recent years become one of the leading hubs of east Asia, attracting major investors and real estate stakeholders."

Mr Mohammad Abdul Nasser Al Khayat, Commercial Director of Meydan, added: "The Cityscape exhibition is an all important opportunity for Meydan to meet and foster relationships with the international real estate community and other potential partners that could join hands with Meydan."

The Meydan delegation will be led by Mr Al Khayat and the CEO of Dubai Racing Club, Mr Frank Gabriel Jr.

The landmark horseracing mixed-use development is moving at an incredible pace ahead of the official opening for the Dubai World Cup in March 2010.
